Text Box: Winter time blues disappear when you find a bargain especially when the price is right! January through May on the last Saturday of each month, the Library’s Community Room will have bargains galore. From 10am until 4pm tables filled with treasures, food and fun will be available free for browsing to the public. Drop by and join in. Want to set up a table? Great idea for crafters, artists, youth group fundraisers, organizations, or indoor yard sale items.  Nominal cost per table will be asked which will benefit family programming at the library. Text Box: Since 1997 the Blum House has been a part of the MVPLD’s service to the Collisville area. The Blum House was donated to the Board of Trustees by the Collinsville Building and Loan. Until 1997 the House was the home of the Blum family - owners of the Blum CowBell Factory from 1876 -1956. The House has had its interior renovated to allow groups of 50 to 75 congregate for business or social gatherings including meetings, receptions, showers, weddings and other events. Rental is accepted from anyone needing a comfortable area to host an event. To get more information on renting the house for an event you can call Barbara or Katie at the Library (618.344.1112 ext. 113) or visit the Blum House link from the Library’s webpage at www.collinsvillelibrary.org . The Community Room at the Collinsville Memorial Public Library Center is also available for rental by nonprofit organizations or businesses.
